Benjamin W. Bryant joined Dingeman & Dancer, PLC in December of 2014 as a paralegal, and has assisted in the firm’s corporate and real estate practice. He has since extended into estate planning and administration; land use, development, financing and zoning matters; employment law; and general civil litigation. Mr. Bryant is a Michigan native, and has lived in northern Michigan for the greater part of his adult life.
Mr. Bryant is a 2012 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude. He began his legal education as a Dean King Scholar at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he ranked first in his class of 281 students prior to transferring to the University of Michigan. Prior to attending law school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Northwood University.
During law school, he held externships at the Michigan Supreme Court Commissioners’ Office and the Michigan Court of Appeals Research Division. He also worked as a summer associate at a large financial law firm in New York City, working on corporate transactions and the securitization of mortgage assets.
After his graduation from law school, Mr. Bryant has worked as a judicial law clerk, both in a Michigan Circuit Court and the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians Tribal Court, as well as private practice, earning experience in civil and commercial litigation, contract drafting, employment matters, municipal representation, corporate issues, and criminal defense.
