Dingeman, Dancer & Christopherson obtained a $1.7 million judgment on behalf of a 29-year-old northern Michigan man whose face was shattered and disfigured in a brutal attack earlier this year.”

After the attack, the victim had to be air lifted to a southern Michigan trauma center where a team of surgeons reconstructed his face. His life-threatening injuries required the insertion of 23 titanium screws, five titanium plates, a prosthetic orbital bone, a hardened-nylon device to support his eye, numerous wires to secure the side of the face and multiple other surgical repairs, including plastic surgery. The young man faces a lifetime of severe face and head pain, daily pain medication, physical disfigurement and a brain injury, which makes him unable to work. The attacker who admitted to the beating was imprisoned for the assault.
