The solution:
A Dingeman, Dancer & Christopherson, P.L.C., attorney personally argued this case in front of the United States Supreme Court. The case involved a claim that a motion, filed one day later than required by the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, should not have been a bar to the United States District court granting relief. In a split decision, the majority of the United States Supreme Court, in an opinion authored by Justice Scalia, ruled that the United States District Court had no authority to grant a motion for judgement of aquittal filed one day outside the time limited prescribed fr Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 29(c).
