James Christopherson

James A. Christopherson concentrates his practice in the areas of arbitration, mediation, healthcare law, oil and gas law, real estate law and estate planning.

Mr. Christopherson represents construction and real estate clients, oil and gas producers, ambulatory surgery centers, physician hospital organizations, physicians, physician practices, healthcare organizations, joint ventures and physician organizations.

Mr. Christopherson has been selected by the Best Lawyers in America® in the speciality area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

His practice includes representing clients in commercial and construction litigation and advising clients regarding compliance and fraud issues, contracts, employment issues, joint ventures, corporate issues including formation and succession issues, and tax exempt legal issues. He has personally argued before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Christopherson received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University School of Law. He is a frequent author and speaker, and he has authored several law review articles.
