Dingeman, Dancer Christopherson Partner Completes Mediation Training


Attorney Mark R. Dancer, a litigation partner at the Traverse City law firm Dingeman, Dancer & Christopherson, has successfully completed 40 hours of State Court Administrative Office (SCA0)-approved mediation training.

The course teaches the art of conflict management through facilitative mediation, using a combination of interactive techniques, lecture, role-playing, and video. It includes proven communication and negotiation skills as well as awareness and sensitivity training regarding ethics, bias and cultural/gender/ethnic/racial issues.

A general civil litigation specialist, Dancer is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from Ohio State University, where he was a member of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and author of “Prosecutorial Discretion on Trial.” He is a former arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and is currently a case evaluator for the 13th, 19th, 33rd/57th and 46th Judicial Circuit Courts of Michigan and the U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids.
